France Favourite To Win Euro 2020

Fear, greed, impatience, wishful thinking, pride. All emotions that, I have started to learn, can have a big effect on trading. After a year and a half of thinking that trading should be easy, wondering why I cant get the results that others are getting, and losing a 4 figure sum, I am just beginning to get a vague glimmer of an idea about what trading really is.
Hey Neil,
ReplyDeleteA nice lil profit there, talking about getting in the zone, I myself find I trade easier when I've got my music going and I'm completely relaxed, saves making irrational judgements.. not that I've traded for awhile mind you.
When I first started trading I lost a bit, made a bit, instead of looking at it as money lost, looked at it as a paid lesson.
Every loss I'd make, I'd learn something from it.

Hey Jay , thanks for the comment. Do you still trade, or just lay, as your blog title suggests?
ReplyDeleteI still feel that I am on the bottom rung of the trading ladder( sometimes only just holding on lol), but things are definitely getting better every day.
Good on you Neil! To get £11 out of today's markets is jolly good going. I felt out of my depth to be honest.
ReplyDeleteJust notice your post mate, well done on the result. Long may it continue.
ReplyDeleteThanks JS, I wish I was as consistent as you though. Its been very up and down so far this month.
ReplyDeleteHey Neil,
ReplyDeleteJust seen your reply, I trade occasionally on the US markets, because i run 6 bots with different systems I've created trading is a no-go in the day due to the betfair API charges.
We all start on the bottom rung I'm afraid, some people pick it up quicker than others, but once you get going, you'll look back andwonder what all the fuss was abou.
